CLASSES
Workshops are conducted for new artists to play instruments like drum, tambourine, nathaswaram. There are many skilled trainers who initially struggled to use the tools but now provide easy-to-understand practical exercises. Workshop Apprentices join us continuously with interest. Many more are trained by us and play Tamil traditional instruments in performances in the provinces where they live.
ARTISTS
New volunteers who join us often have no musical background or prior experience playing instruments. Most of them work in the IT sector. They go to great lengths to train themselves in each musical instrument and become professional performers. Their commitment to carry the Tamil legacy to the next generation is highly commendable.
